In this workshop, Graham and Joe, (Austentatious, The Free Association) will teach you to play and play hard! We will focus on ‘Game’, specifically how we teach it at The Free Association – showing you how to extract the maximum amount of fun from your scenes, working on Points of View, Grounding and Blowing out the World.

We will also look at Monologues and teach how to play the most fun ideas inspired from them.

Then, we’re going to put it all together and learn about the Armando/Asssscat format and we’ll even perform one by the end of the class…

 

Joseph Morpurgo is co-creator of improvised comedy group Austentatious (★★★★★ - The Times), and is a regular performer with Grand Theft Impro, The Free Association, Monkey Toast and Life Is Fantastic. As an instructor, he currently teaches with Monkey Toast, has directed short-form ensemble The Oxford Imps, and regularly coaches long-form teams across the capital.

 

Graham DICKSON is co-founder of the award-winning improvised comedy show Austentatious, and regularly performs in Life is Fantastic, Monkey Toast and Grand Theft Impro. He is co-founder and director of The Free Association, where he teaches and performs weekly. Graham also coaches long-form improv teams in London.
